For All who Follow http://www.miraclebootcamp.com, here is the rest of our why:
Though a native of northern California, I have lived in Washington State since 1995. Big Z is 9, a wise fourth grader. He's my blessing & gift in life, and my best little business partner. He restates, "I'm your only little business partner."
I'm a single Mom, a woman who never anticipated being a career woman. My ultimate childhood dream in life was to have a "perfect" family, a loving and supportive husband, 3 kids that adored me, and a lot of energy, and time to just enjoy raising kids and helping out in the schools. My life has been anything from "perfect."
By the time my son was born, it was evident that the "perfect" relationship was not happening in my life. In 2003, I divorced, and I realized that I was going to have to support myself and my son. I had one thing in my favor: a fire that had been lit in my last year of college for home-based business.
At that time, I still didn't want to be a breadwinner, but something about the freedom in having a part-time business from home got me excited. Unfortunately, my husband wasn't all that supportive of the idea saying, "Your job is your degree." And thus, my fire tamed until I graduated from Western Washington University.
Upon graduating from WWU, with a B.A. in English Literature, I still didn't want a "job." The thought of a "day job" really felt stifling, especially if it meant sitting in a cubicle in some stuffy office. And besides, raising my children while working a job was never my vision in life. I rekindled my idea for a business from home-- I felt alive when I was considering it.
In my search, I listened to Robert Allen and his "Multiple Streams of Income" program. Mr. Allen shared many ways of creating an income from home, but his last secret I chose as my vehicle to freedom. This secret told how to create residual income, income that pays me over and over just as if I was receiving royalties off a book or CD. I thought, "I can DO that!"
I've had a few businesses from home over the years and learned a great deal in the process, and experienced health improvements along the way. I didn't, however, reach the level of success I'd hoped for.
Then one day I was introduced to this company by a after meeting two women at a social event. When I saw what they were doing, I was so impressed. They created a company that could change the world by utilizing the power of online shopping --- you could pick the charity of your choice (hundreds of them!), shop at any of hundreds of stores online, and have your purchase bring a rebate back to the charity. I looked for one I was then supporting and found them there and was so happy.
As I thought about the vision of this company, I was awed, but I also had a challenge: I could not shop here to support my charity of choice because I did not have the money to shop with at this time.
A few years later, however, when Together We Can Change The World launched their My Power Mall Division in 2007, we were reintroduced to Ginny Dye's global vision that harnesses the power of online spending to change lives. She came up with system whereby someone like me and my son could earn income off our own purchases while funneling revenue into charities with that same purchase.
You see, one of the reasons we originally created an alliance is because Big Z always wanted to have his own business. As I said, I've had a few over time, and he wanted to follow in my footsteps.
Ginny Dye said, "Yes!" Yes? --- Yep, anyone at any age may have a My Power Mall business, which includes Big Z and your children, too, and your grandchildren, and foster children, and any adult who is young at heart; its' for families and foundations, and college funds, and savings plans and non-profit organizations.
YES! My Power Mall is for everyone who wants to change the world, starting with their own family.
Big Z's Enterprise has has developed into a powerful way for us to support our own needs, support a child or non-profit through the One-Cause-At-A-Time Program, and to grow a Together We Can Change The World Foundation mall where 100% of the revenue provides the resources to make a difference in the world. That's what I call win-win-win.
We are here because we want our financial freedom, our time freedom, our quality of life, our balance in life, and because it helps us give, and then give more. Together We Can Change The World is our vision--- we have the heart, the desire, and now, we have the means.
Thank you for joining us on our journey to support our Foundation because "Giving Together is Good!"
