Jacki asked us to write up our why for growing our My Power Mall business and our Foundation Mall as we embark on our Miracle Team Adventure for the next 4 weeks. I sent it to her and she said it was a bit lengthy, so here it is ;-) :
Why My Power Mall?
Why not?
TOGETHER
We CAN
Change The World.
Enter Tess, a single Mom who'd found an unexpected passion while in college --- a flame kindled through the profession merging a nurturing home life with entrepreneurial --- the home-based business.
Enter Big Z, my boy who asked me since he was three, "Why can't I have my own business like you and like Dad?" Big Z is now 9.
Enter Ginny Dye and her amazing team dedicated to the vision of changing the world, one person at a time, one charity at a time, together, each one of us making a difference -- Together We Can Change The World, Inc.
Enter My Power Mall, a division of Together We Can Change The World, a company designed to funnel money to each like-hearted and visionary member as we shop for our everyday items; and to provide much needed revenue to organizations that are dedicated to making a difference in the world.
Thus was born the opportunity for my son to have his own business with My Power Mall at age 7 --- Big Z's
Why not? Shouldn't any child have the opportunity to have a better life? Isn't that what every parent, grandparent, aunt and uncle would like to see for their child?
Since this time last year, the summer of 2008, after a particularly lengthy time in transition, home-hopping, and funds jumping, job and soul searching, we've cemented a solid vision through our alliance with TWCCTW and MPM.
We've gotten to ride the waves of change with this amazing company dedicated to making a difference in the world, from the incredible story of the SIFA Choir fundraising for a cause last summer and internalizing the moving and beautiful Together We Can Change The World Song, to the amazing partnership with our certificate programs, to the launch of Together We Can Change The World Day, to the amazing partnership with Prince Ron from Uganda and the Solar Oven Project, this company has captured our hearts and our desire to do good in this world, to give back.
Our why ---
Why not?
Why not shop with My Power Mall and get paid for what we already buy?
I like knowing that I can shop at 1100 plus stores AND in my own community (Pretty cool that Visa and American Express partner with us so this may happen!) and get paid back a percentage of my purchase without having to clip coupons to get it.
Why not help others do the same?
Everyone on the planet can do what I do and gain extra income to pay their car payment, their house payment, to take an annual vacation, or grow a much larger income. I like knowing I can help others create additional income, especially in our tough economy.
What’s more, I love that a company such as My Power Mall prospers exponentially in economies such as now--- though it’s always a good time to “Shop Smart and GIVE Big!”, now is an especially good time!
Why not support good causes with our shopping power?
I like knowing that 6% of our corporate profits go directly to providing funds necessary to effect positive change, like our One-Cause-At-A-Time Program, where currently we are supporting EnviroCorps (www.envirocorps.org).
Why not create an income for my son so that his future may be as I would like ours to be right now?
I would like him to have freedom from money concerns, to have his needs met, to have a nice home, to have his education paid for, to have money to travel to see family and friends, and to travel further to meet to friends and create new family.
Why not help my son know that supporting worthy causes is a wonderful part of life, and that it can happen regardless of your station in life?
Together We Can Change The World Day and the Vision of Together We Can Change The World, and our ability to tap into this vision by giving of ourselves on the first Saturday of the month
and
by creating a TWCCTW Foundation Mall are simple ways we can give in huge ways while gaining our own "foundations" for giving on grander scales.
I want freedom.
TWCCTW and MPM can help me and Big Z achieve this.
I want our needs met and then I want more --- those above the basic comforts of life and are individual to us.
TWCCTW and MPM can help me and Big Z achieve this.
I want my time in life to allow for life to be lived.
TWCCTW and MPM can help me and Big Z achieve this.
I want money in my life to allow for life experiences to be lived in Technicolor by us, our family, our friends and our communities.
TWCCTW and MPM can help us achieve this.
I want to have quality time with my son before he's out on his own and his own ship sets forth following his own compass; and Big Z wants this too.
TWCCTW and MPM can help us achieve this.
I want to give time, money, energy, and quality time to my family, friends and loved ones.
TWCCTW and MPM can help me and Big Z achieve this.
I want flexibility in my life.
TWCCTW and MPM can help me achieve this.
I want to know that we will never have to wonder about retirement from a job and whether it will be enough; I want "retirement" to never come because we are living life fully now, engaged in a life passion that keeps J.O.B. out of the equation.
TWCCTW and MPM can help us achieve this.
This is only a snapshot --- a glimpse into our . . .
Why MPM?
Why not?
What is YOUR why? Are you ready to take action toward your dreams?
If not now, when?
Isn't it time?
You know, I cannot do it alone.
Big Z cannot do it alone.

The 60 Founding Members can't do it alone.
The Management Team can't do it alone.
You cannot do it alone.
But Together, we can. Together we can do it. Together We Can Change The World.
My Power Mall makes it possible to each do a little while helping each other get down the road we want to travel while funding and supporting charities along the way using a simple concept:
